Thursday, January 26, 2012. The longest month of my life. 1 month in ICU - Alhamdulillah. thanks to the Almighty, Humaira's condition continues to improve although there is a little setback. She has a little bit of infection. Though not serious, doctors are taking every necessary precaution. We have to put on a robe, mask and gloves now when we visit her. For the past 3 days, her creatinine level has been within normal range. What a relief! And Humaira grinning all along! Am looking forward to more and m...

Friday, November 28, 2014. Aktiviti menghilangkan bosan anak-anak pagi tadi. Didn't feel like doing anything "strenous" today ( read : malas. So I taped a piece of extra sized white paper to the floor, gave the kids crayons and let them spill their creative juice. Think they spent a good hour or two scribbling away. Boleh guna lagi idea ni for next time. Taking time to decide which colour (or maybe which hand? Lukis "piming pul", katanya. That's "swimming pool" to you and me =). Outpours on my blog.

Had homosexuality been viewed with the same perspective and concern as anorexia, it probably wouldn't become what it is now a norm. There would be rehab centres to treat this unnatural preference. People would treat homosexuals with more respect, understanding that they are battling an addiction. And they too, would probably not be as bold as they are now, these homosexuals with all their demands. But it's too late now.

Friday, January 31, 2014. Hidden treasure trove discovered. Hardly inviting, no? They have shopping carts. Surely that is an indication of some level of awesomeness in there. You see, shopping carts don't normally go together with shoddy-warehouse-looking shop. And if they do. as I learned from this experience, go check the place out! Witnessing a busload of Bruneians making a pitstop here was the last push I needed. So I went. And I think I hit the jackpot! Why oh why didn't I bother to come here sooner?
