Monday, August 29, 2011. And he got a thumbs up in return from all 3 of us! Monday, August 15, 2011. IP: Beauty at it's Best. Island Park '11: Girl's Trip. I feel like I've been talking lots about the perfect weekend. Turns out there's lots of combos that make for a really awesome time. This getaway was no different- we packed up and ventured to Idaho. Need I say more? I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story:. Where there's a baby, there's a happy Claire. Lot's of lady bonding time- love it!

Wednesday, October 5, 2011. You would not believe the length of my to-do list. overwhelming. stress-inducing. This pregnancy is flying. By and I just can't find the drive and energy to get everything done that I want to before #2 comes. Plus, with the next 4 months already seemingly packed with the holidays, birthdays, etc. coming up, it's serious crunch time. And staying open post-Labor Day! Now with the cooler weather and it being October, my biggest distraction is our Halloween costumes. A star is born.

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Twas the night of the due date. And all through the house, there was bashing and banging with the ceiling falling out. The bathroom was stripped right clean of it's tiles. And the wood and debris seemed to stretch on for miles. The dust wrapped around us and waffed in our noses. And we smelled nothing of new babies or roses. And so we will wait. Great timing though, right? Well, we're even more excited for this baby boy to make his debut. And mine and Bruce's for that matter.

Thursday, February 23, 2012. Making room for two. We have no other choice but to move Charlie in with Claire. Not for a while of course, but eventually. So plans are underway to neutralize the nursery a bit and change things up! First off, new rocking chair. Consignment find. good price became better after I asked if they'd sell it for cheaper. Miss-matched pieces but I really liked them both. And the final result:. The perfect roommate: clean, quiet, sweet and zero threat to steal your food. Hut 2,3,4.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I grew up saying my favorite holidays were Christmas, 4th of July and my birthday. I love my birthday. always have, always will. This year was fantastic, as expected, being my golden. My entire weekend I was surrounded by those I love most and filled with great amounts of good food- what I love most.
