July 4, 2016. July 6, 2016. Example of someone I respected engaging in leadership. Describe a time when I chose to lead. As a captain in my pool league I was frustrated with the venue where our team played. Many other people felt the same way. I worked with the general manager of another bar I knew well and he agreed to bring the league to the bar. I let others take credit but I was the one that made it happen. Is leadership a choice? Absolutely. It’s much harder to lead than to manage. Newer posts →.

Notebook Entry #3 Doing the Right Thing. July 6, 2016. What does it mean to do the right thing? What does it mean to do the right thing even when there’s a popular shortcut? Consider the journey that you and your team ore on. Do the ends justify the means? What’s right and where do you draw the line? Does everyone in your culture draw the line in the same place? What sort of control are you willing to give up to get closer to your goal? Leadership Notebook #4 →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
