http://www.londoncitymum.com/2015/06/when-all-else-fails-head-to-sweden.html
Monday, 8 June 2015. When all else fails, head to Sweden. So Things appear to be on an eternal 'go-slow' loop at the moment. Calls are not returned. Emails take days to be answered. Individuals require endless chasing for updates. Replies are not exactly what you are hoping for. Projects take forever and then more to get off the ground. Work undertaken comes consistently under the perennial 'free' banner. The one saving grace is that the hard proof copy of my book. But there are things to look forward to.

December 30, 2013. I really enjoyed the feeling of necessity to keep moving. I had an emergency mobile phone but with suitably low battery to be of much use. I didn’t have to go fast just keep going. I really enjoyed myself! I am just hoping that tortoise-and-hare mindset will stand me in good stead when the full ironman marathon section gets tough. It felt pretty windy and wild up on the moors! I even look like I’m enjoying myself, and (ha! No pigeon toes in sight! This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

As many people know, I love my food! So, much of what I make for breakfast, lunch and dinner has to be prepared (and eaten! Quickly (and I don’t own a microwave). I also have a particular weakness for cakes, and try to find healthy alternatives to get my sweet-tooth-fix. In addition, I find that training affects my system such that wheat usually needs to be avoided. However, I’m no angel, and sometimes only the squidgiest cake or pud will do! Not sure why called bread, it’s clearly cake! Beat in an egg.

August 10, 2015. No one really wants to come fourth, do they? Especially when fourth turns into fifth just minutes later! One thing you learn particularly on a lap run course is that, once you have passed the finish line to start a new lap, you can’t bear the idea of not getting run up the magic carpet. I’ve never yet DNF’d a race and the panic of wondering how do you actually ‘leave’ the course without anyone noticing? But it’s really not all doom and gloom. I came away with a lot of positives:. She pus...
