http://nonsuchbirder.blogspot.com/2008/08/august-at-nonsuch.html

Welcome to David Campbell's blog, documenting bird sightings from Nonsuch Park, Cheam, Surrey. Thursday, 21 August 2008. August at Nonsuch Park sees the tame young Kestrels that are very photographable. They seem to appear at the begginning of the month and disappear pretty strictly around the end so if you want good Kestrel pictures, this is the time and the place to visit. Throughout the park, birds seem to be very quiet; even the Chiffchaffs have fallen silent (mostly! Here is a list of 38 Birds that ...

Nonsuch Birder: The month ahead: Nonsuch Park in September

http://nonsuchbirder.blogspot.com/2008/08/month-ahead-nonsuch-park-in-september.html

Welcome to David Campbell's blog, documenting bird sightings from Nonsuch Park, Cheam, Surrey. Thursday, 21 August 2008. The month ahead: Nonsuch Park in September. The attention at the park turns from young Kestrels to large numbers of Jays with peak counts of around 30 (total of nearly 100 sightings in the few visits I've made in this month). Autumn migration is still in full swing and you have a very good chance of gripping me off with a potential Nonsuch lifer for me! Great Spotted Woodpecker (4).

Birds of Nonsuch Park. See first post for Nonsuch list. Other posts concern additions to Nonsuch List. Saturday, 23 February 2008. I was at the park on my own when I saw a Collared Dove in the gardens. It was even singing! This has always been my main patch bogey bird- until now! Phil Wallice and I saw an obliging female Grey Wagtail at the ponds (West end) for a while at around 1:30pm. It was a Nonsuch lifer for both of us (and a year tick too). Posted by David K. Campbell.
