Boehms At Home: February 2011
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Saturday, February 26, 2011. At the end of this month, Jonas will be 6 months old. It doesn't feel like we've had him nearly that long, and yet in the middle of the night it feels like we've had him forever and haven't had a full nights sleep in just as long! Here's his post-bath-cool-dude look and also a picture of the cupcakes that I'm taking to Sunday School tomorrow to celebrate our little boy :). Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Life is a Highway. I love that girl.

Boehms At Home: June 2011
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Friday, June 17, 2011. Jonas on the move . sort of. Jonas will be 10 months old at the end of June but he is still not crawling. You've got to feel a bit sorry from him because he's had absolutely no help from us. I remember when Kara was starting to move around, I would get on the floor with her and help her arms and legs to move the right way and I would crawl for her to show her how it was done. Kara in June 2009. And that means a whole lot more work for me!

Boehms At Home: January 2011
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. My baby sister had a baby today. I'll say it again. My baby. Sister had a baby. Today How is that possible? I mean, it's weird enough when you start having babies yourself, but when it's your baby sister? It's hard wrap my brain around. Hannah Grace arrived just after midnight after many, many hours of labour. She's a big baby (compared to mine, I guess) and my sister pushed her out! I'm so proud of her. I'm SO proud of her. We played for...

Boehms At Home: October 2011
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Life on a schedule? I've been considering putting the kids and I on a schedule. If you know me well, you're thinking "I thought those kids were already pretty scheduled! True enough. I'm a schedule person - I can't seem to help myself. I like to know what's coming up and what to look forward to. I'm sure it's leftovers from my teaching days, but I need order! So here's my question: is this ridiculous? Or does everybody do this? But I se...

Boehms At Home: This mornings project
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2012/10/this-mornings-project.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Monday, October 29, 2012. We are so close to getting the kids' room all done. This morning I wanted to hang pictures and do another small project that I thought would help with our clutter problem. It turned out to be a fun project that only took a short time and everybody was able to pitch in - perfect thing to do on Curtis' day off! The idea is that this will serve as a tack board to hold Kara's millions of art projects that are spread all over the house!

Boehms At Home: Halfway!
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2012/08/halfway.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Did I mention that I was pregnant? I'm sure you've heard by now . news travels fast! I'm really feeling like this baby is a gift for us - a bonus gift. I know all of our children have been gifts (all seven of them) but this one feels like the icing on the cake. We have longed for a third child, but had decided that we were content with just two. I was worried about my "advanced maternal age" (blech! August 25, 2012 at 7:39 PM. Subscribe ...

Boehms At Home: May 2011

Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Black Bean Couscous Salad. The first time I made this recipe, it was on the occasion of having my first vegetarian friend over for a girls lunch. I was nervous and didn't have any experience cooking vegetarian meals (which sounds so silly now, but I really was worked up about it! Hope you like it :). 1 cup uncooked couscous. 1 1/4 cups chicken broth. 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice. 8 green onions, chopped.

Boehms At Home: February 2013
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. I can do this! When I was pregnant with Judah, I felt like I could barely take care of my kids. Between the lack of sleep, the painful hips and back and the constant jabs in my belly, I often felt completely overwhelmed about caring for my growing family. And I started to stress that I wouldn't be able to do it (life) with three kids! But, I'm so happy (and admittedly quite proud) that I'm actually doing it (life) with three kids!

Boehms At Home: Reno pictures
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2012/10/reno-pictures.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Monday, October 8, 2012. I have had lots of requests for reno pictures, so here are a few. The bathroom pictures aren't great, but you can see the new tile and paint colour. Before it was all a dark tan colour. Now it is multiples versions of grey. LOVE crossing this off the list! Now we just have to convince Jonas to sleep in here :). October 10, 2012 at 8:59 AM. Both of those rooms look amazing! You guys are so good with having an eye for what looks nice together.

Boehms At Home: April 2011
http://boehmsathome.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sharing the adventure of everyday life. Friday, April 22, 2011. Tonight we were all sitting around the table and all of a sudden Kara starts singing a made-up song (this in itself is not abnormal! And the words went like this:. Jesus died on a fork and spoon, Jesus died on the cross. Jesus died on a fork and spoon, Jesus died on the cross. Then we looked at her plate and she had made her fork and spoon into a cross. Jesus died on a fork and spoon. And that's the end of my sermon. Friday, April 15, 2011.
