Fruitful fulminations: “Good night, trees” and other Mariah-isms
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2007/11/good-night-trees-and-other-mariah-isms.html
Monday, November 19, 2007. 8220;Good night, trees” and other Mariah-isms. This is a place I plan to just post cute comments from Mariah as they come. Check this one out regularly- she's always saying something noteworthy! 11/18/07 Upon looking at the trees in their waning Autumn beauty, and our discussion of how they were going dormant, she said, “ Good night, trees. 8221; Good night, indeed. We'll miss you until March. To which she replied, of course: " Well, I'm looking at the fire and I'm thinking.

Fruitful fulminations: January 2010
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Well, chalk it up to my creative friend to give me both a nice shower and an innovative way to not have to come up with my own haiku for the blog today. :) A "task" for my shower attendees tonight was to write haiku for me- inspired by the upcoming blessed event, of course, so we will deviate from my "laundry list" of haiku topics for the week. :). I enjoyed the fellowship, the sweet words, and the kind and thoughtful gifts. And a special "Thank you! On to the guest haiku! Laund...

Fruitful fulminations: December 2009
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 18, 2009. A haiku about bleach . hmm. Let's see. Germs and fungus, go! When house has been sick! Other things that could use a good sanitization? How about the views expressed here:. Http:/ www.guardian.co.uk/science/series/ask-carole. Perhaps "salt" and "light" would be a better source of both the "sanity" and Truth needed to clean that up. Need I say more? Wednesday, December 16, 2009. What's wrong with this blog? No posting last Friday and now one on Wednesday. Oh, the drama! Christma...

Fruitful fulminations: Tribute to Mom
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2010/08/tribute-to-mom.html
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Another passage caught my eye that she marked from 2005. It was the date that my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. She laid out her feelings before the Lord about the pain that I recall sharing with her over the phone as we both cried and grieved over the child that it seemed I would never be able to bear. The Lady of the Holler. Beautiful tribute, Frost. August 5, 2010 at 7:02 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Notes from the Holler.

Fruitful fulminations: October 2009

Friday, October 30, 2009. Bad blogger skips week,. But no one seems to notice. Shrug* No big deal then. I have some submissions from others around the office today. The haiku is apparently therapeutic on stressful Fridays for others as well. Which you can see translated here. Who left a bit early to get a head-start on a weekend trip:. And so glad to get away. Just don't care anymore. All is out of hands. Or something like that- he changed it at some point, and I didn't write down the new one). I have be...

Fruitful fulminations: September 2009
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 25, 2009. I've noticed a few sites have a penchant for Haiku on Fridays, so I thought I would share one with you and see if I could coax any out of you. Can you make one good like me? OK, not my best, but maybe it's enough to make ya feel like you can do better and SHOW me. :). Monday, September 21, 2009. Random, driveby gnomings. Fruitful fulminations: What to do?
http://fruitfulfulminations.blogspot.com/2010/05/what-to-do.html
Sunday, May 16, 2010. So, since I'm here, I guess I'll fulminate. Not sure if it will be fruitful, but I'll try. These events made Mother's Day last week bittersweet. I wonder if it is the last I will have with any progenitor. But I was able to celebrate with my mother-in-law, and, of course, my wonderful family. They and my church and work families have all been very helpful and supportive during this difficult time. I've been blessed. May 19, 2010 at 5:37 AM. The Lady of the Holler.
