When I was a little bit older than this, my hair suddenly started growing blonde and dead straight. I bet that looked weird. Throwback to the only time I’ve ever had volume in my hair. Kiso Valley: Tsumago & Magome. September 26, 2013. Hi, I thought I better write more about my trip to Japan before baby arrives! I don’t think I will have time to do it then! So anyway… After Kyoto, we moved on to Tsumago and Magome in the Kiso Valley. We took a train from Kyoto to Nagiso and took a taxi to Tsumago. Tsumago is really nice. It was a post town on the Nakesendo route during the Edo period. You can read more about it here. Anyway, the walk to our minshuku, Kohshinzuka. Waiting to check in.

It is basically chicken and noodles in broth, but it is my absolute favourite meal to eat out. He even went to the efforts of copying the placemats from the restaurant and buying chopsticks. It was such a lovely surprise to come home to! July 9th: Radical self love meal. Let’s get physical. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

My little life, fuelled by coca cola and crochet. Jul 16, 2014. I am back home now, full of relief that I didn’t need surgery or more treatment, but completely exhausted. My body aches, I feel dizzy and nauseous, everything feels too heavy. Apparently these are normal after effects of taking Morphine, and I hope never to experience this again. I intend to spend today in bed, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on netflix and trying to rest. Send positive vibes my way please. Let’s get physical. Jul 14, 2014.
