http://stitchingandscribbling.blogspot.com/2006/12/sweet-as-flower-freebie.html
Thursday, December 28, 2006. Sweet as the Flower freebie. Now that Christmas is over, I thought I'd post a freebie that would be great to give someone for Valentine's Day. I charted it for Gentle Arts threads. The red is Antique Rose, the green is Dried Thyme and the brown is Apple Cider. I charted it for Sand linen 32 count which makes it 3 x 3 1/2 inches. Enjoy! Thank you, Deborah! What a lovely design! Very sweet, thank you :). Just found this via Monique's blog - thank you! What a sweet design! This ...

In honor of Earth Day, I've created a little free cross stitch chart for you, with a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, "The earth laughs in flowers". The chart calls for DMC, but please substitute your favorite threads if you so desire, choose your favorite count of linen to work it onto, finish it as a pin cushion or needle book, whatever your heart desires. and be sure to send me a photo when you’re done! My Heartstring: Chai Fireball Whiskey Tea
http://thetwistfamily.blogspot.com/2012/11/chai-fireball-whiskey-tea.html
Friday, November 02, 2012. Chai Fireball Whiskey Tea. A few days ago I came across a yummy looking recipe. On Pinterest. I had none of the specific ingredients on hand, but figured it, like all other recipes I encounter, was more a rule of thumb that could be tweaked, than a law that had to be followed to the letter. Yesterday, on a no-school day, as I sat in a cold house waiting for our chimney guy to fix a leak, I knew it was time to give it a try. Pour in the steeped tea. Keepers of my Heart. Will you...

Monday, July 13, 2015. Vignettes from an Antique Show. One of my favorite places to be is out looking at a thousand or so booths full of old things. So much history. So much potential to add to an item's personal story. And now, thanks to my smart phone (Moto X), I can capture little bits of the experience to share with you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, May 19, 2012. Have you seen the latest Little House Needleworks ornament, "Sleigh Bells"? It's a very nice ornament with a catch-y little tune. Are you listening? Well, let me tell you, she's a believer! LOL I think she is hooked. Nancy went home tonight and finished stitching the design. The image you see here is what I shot this afternoon. Look how rich the colors are on the deeper colored linen. I think she did a great job! Have a great weekend, everyone! Labels: Little House Needleworks.

Inspired News: DuClay Chapter EGA Saturday Stitch-In
http://inspirednews.blogspot.com/2013/08/duclay-chapter-ega-saturday-stitch-in.html
Sunday, August 4, 2013. DuClay Chapter EGA Saturday Stitch-In. The family is currently in Florida visiting with Grandma, cousins, aunt, uncle and more cousins! One of the gals attending the event was stitching on this wool design. The woman holding it is Denise, our instructor for the scissor case. Double bonus for me is that the Chapter had a needlework exhibit on display at the library. I took as many pictures as I could to capture all of the items on display. I apologize if I missed any! Saturday, November 10, 2012. I'm A Fan of Pam" Club. Pam, who works with me at the shop on Thursdays, has ongoing practical jokes with a co-worker at her full-time job. Debbie learned about this joke and figured we could extend the fun to the retreat. Imagine Pam's surprise when three of us came to lunch one afternoon with our "I'm A Fan of Pam" buttons! Pam was a good sport about it as we razzed her all weekend about being her fans! Labels: Im A Fan of Pam. Thursday, November 8, 2012. We doubled the roo...
