Very nice but our boat felt small beside our neighbours. Sunday, 16 August 2015. Yesterday went to Lion King and Ellens Stardust dinner. The show was nice and dinner was quite entertaining. Nordic Belle 2 sailing blog. Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Day 2 Rochester Yacht Club. We had a nice motor over to RYC and got a space on the visitor. Wall Did some shopping, swam in the pool and had a nice dinner (bar menu only tonight but the lobster bisque was excellent). Monday, 27 July 2015. Left PCYC at 9 am and arrived at Wilson at 2:30 pm. Monday, 20 July 2015. One week until we leave Canada. Location: Lakefront Promenade Park Mississauga. Sunday, 5 July 2015. At the pump house. Thursday, 2 July 2015.

Nordic Belle 2 sailing blog. Friday, 29 May 2015. Preparing for the journey. Preparing Nordic Belle II for her journey to salt water and the Caribbean sea is slow progress. We are adding a number of anti corrosion systems such as a galvanic isolator and 2 Electro Guard units to cover the engine, rudder post, keel and all through hulls. Very expensive but once installed it should do the trick for many years to come. She still sits on her cradle waiting to be launched. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Nordic Belle II | Our Sailing Adventure

August 17, 2015. We left the city around 5:45 to make It through Hell Gate after low tide. It’s a tricky narrow tidal straight that you have to pass through as you head up the East River. Nasty currents, and you could see the water swirling around as we went through. The skyline was beautiful as we left the Harbor. We arrived in Port Washington at the bright hour of 8:30.
