Anyways, here's a song that has been all over the airwaves in Norway this summer. It's the debut single of RnB wannabe Sichelle. Anyway, it transpired that the song was, of course, not a Norwegian original. It was a hit a couple of years ago for Danish singer Anna David. Bearing in mind the date, it seems like a good idea to start with September.

That is yet to come, but the first single Get Some. Bodes very well indeed. It has a somewhat dark and disturbing feel to it, musically, but in a good way. Real name Nicole Fuentes-Kalifatidis) is based in Stockholm but has roots in Russia and also a drop of Spanish and Greek blood. She was brought to my attention this week as one of the participants in Sweden's Eurovision qualifier, Melodifestivalen, with the barmy and utterly fantastic Razborka. Which is also a very catchy, kitschy and slightly bizarre tune. But I love it! Finally, something new!
