Thai Birds 'n' Pies. Birding Photography and the Occasional Pie in Thailand. Monday, November 5, 2012. Kaeng Krachan (the first weekend). The first trip to KK since re opening this year turned up a few nice sightings for me. It did seem a bit quiet on the bird front, but we still saw quite a few. A nice little group of Chestnut Headed Bee-Eaters. Taking a dip in the stream at Bang Kran. Plenty of Red Throated Flycatcher. S around the camping area, a lonesome Verditer Flycatcher. S, Crimson Sunbirds.
