He lived 10 weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Since I had experience working in an emergency dept. of my local hospital it was far less scary for me. It was an experience I wouldnt trade for anything. We used this time to be totally honest with each other. We spent the time doing whatever we wanted to do. He would say, I want to.and we would.

But I guess what it all comes down to is this, I loved her and she loved me and while we will not live happily ever after we did live and love for the twenty plus years we were together. We accomplished more than we thought possible but less than we would have had there been more time. I miss her a lot and while life goes on it can never be the same. In My Own Way 2009.
