Republican Primaries | The Not-Quite-So-Friendly Humanist
https://notsofriendlyhumanist.wordpress.com/2012/01/09/republican-primaries
Not so much about humanism anymore. Expect lefty politics and thoughts about higher education. And don’t even get me started on campaign finance! What happened to the votes counting, not the money? And now we have this new 20 minute advert attacking Mitt Romney, a thoroughly unpleasant person who, remarkably, is probably one of the more moderate candidates of the pack, which will cost $3.5m to air in South Carolina. Here’s the trailer (yes, a trailer for an advert):. Capitalism made American great. F...

What I’d like to see less of in 2012 | The Not-Quite-So-Friendly Humanist

Not so much about humanism anymore. Expect lefty politics and thoughts about higher education. What I’d like to see less of in 2012. I had barely nominated David Eastwood for Bright Green Scotland’s Dick of the Year award. When, as if I’d summoned a daemon from the west midlands, an article of his appeared in the Guardian education supplement. Don’t underestimate this man; he is the embodiment of all that is wrong with higher education. He bans student protests on campus. He sat on the Browne review panel.

But enough of the apology’s… actions speak louder than words so they say, so i shall try and make it up through words which are actions rather than words… yes confusing lol. My life has changed quite a bit in the last couple of months! All these skills (and money *cough*) I have picked up this year will help me in my final year at university, i have no doubt. Congrats, on get...

Raby Whyte – my Blog. A blog of my thoughts. April 4, 2008. Today children seem a LOT more educated in subjects related to computing, even if these subjects are not in detail, the concept of what a computer does and there importance is a message well received. Raby Whyte – my Blog. A blog of my thoughts. Has the lhc destroyed the earth? August 21, 2008. My leaving do for CSC was last night, I had a good time =D. Went to wagamama’s and had Ramen with seafood and a prawn starter I don’t remember the name of. Very nice and healthy food indeed, i used chopsticks too, which is an achievement for me! The wooden ladle I got with the soupy noodle based dish was an interesting contraption haha! A good night, thanks to everyone that attended! Feed for this Entry. Has th...

Labour’s role in the class struggle. | The Not-Quite-So-Friendly Humanist

Not so much about humanism anymore. Expect lefty politics and thoughts about higher education. Labour’s role in the class struggle. Hey folks, sorry it’s been so long. I popped over to find something I’d written ages ago and found that I’ve still got a fair number of readers, even though I haven’t written anything in 6 months. The fools! That’s 3,000 higher than they currently are. Right bang in the middle between the status-quo and the Tory-led coalition’s position. What is he thinki...Here he has a pol...
