Sunday, May 17, 2009. A Day of Loss. One year ago today we lost a valuable part of our family and it still hurts. We miss peeking out our front door and seeing a busy mama and her two little ones. They flew the nest today! A Grandegg named Aleye . Here you see Avery's school project Aleye (pronounced Allie) a hard-boiled egg baby which she was to take care of as her own. She even lined me up as her babysitter while she went to school:). . Needless to say, I can cross my only grandegg off my list.

1st day of school. Sunday, July 26, 2009. 1st day of school. Well it's officially here. Lauren first day of 3rd grade and Hailey's first day of kindergarten. I still can't believe it but I completely understand the phrase that the days go by slow but the years go by fast. Although it's still 113 and very hot school is starting. One of the hardest days of my life. Busy but fun weekend. Raise your hand if you are overloaded :). Sunday, November 23, 2008. Well the Manning family is now happier since we just got Chloe a 2 year old female lab/husky mix. The only thing that appears to be husky is the one blue eye and one brown eye :).
