Five million footprints on the Appalachian Trail. Mittwoch, 20. August 2014. Tag: 148 (Dienstag 19.08.2014). Heute haben wir nun tatsächlich die 2000 Meilenmarke überschritten. Und was auch noch passiert ist. die Sonne hat den ganzen Tag geschienen. Seit langen waren meine Klamotten mal wieder nass von meinem eigenen Schweiß. und nicht vom Regen. Den letzten Berg über 4000 "Füße" haben wir dann auch abgehakt. Jetzt kommt nur noch einer über 3000 und der Rest ist um die 2000. 21 August 2014 um 00:48.

Five million footprints on the Appalachian Trail. Dienstag, 9. September 2014. Am 31 August hat mich CG zum Flughafen nach Boston gebracht. Von Rhode Iland aus sind das ca. 1 1/2h. Von Boston nach Minneapolis über Kansas City. War schon sehr aufgeregt meine Tochter live und nicht nur über Skype wieder zu sehen. Und so fängt auch ein guter Thriller an. Wir werden alle in das benachbarte Terminal verfrachtet und als die Polizei in voller Montur mit Spürhunden durch dieses Terminal geht. die Presse...Die er...

Erwandern. Das sind 3500 km durch 14 US Staaten. Die Wanderung wird ca. 5 1 Monate dauern. Flug hin und zurück 1000€ (789,60€ gebucht). Material und Equipment 1000€. 5 1 Monate Verpflegung, Ersatzmaterial 3000€. 4 Wochen Urlaub aus dem Jahr vor dem Start. 4 Wochen Urlaub aus dem Startjahr. On AT: 158 days.

Later this month, Mark, Julia, and I plan to visit the Pond and meet with some people in Maine who helped take care of Paul following his drowning and enabled his safe return home. Thank you everyone for all your support. I may post some more pictures in the future, but not really sure. I felt it fitting to end this blog today since Paul has completed his journey.
