Payments are due 1 year from the date the contract is taken out. For cow calf pairs only, the first payment is due December 1st, regardless of the date taken out. Payments can be made before but must be made by this date. If payments are not made by the due date, a 6% per annum late fee will be charged. All North Central Cattle Co-op cattle must be branded with the shelter 2 which is the Co-op's brand and an identifying number which must be obtained from the Supervisor / Treasurer, along with the location. We finance bred heifers, bred cows, cow-calf pairs. Financed from 1-6 years with annual payments due the date the loan is taken. First year: Maximum financing is $100,000 per individual; $150,000 per farm family. Second and subsequent years: $200,000 per individual member, and $300,000 per farm family. Befor a contract can be done, a priority agreement may need to be signed. This agreement protects against fraud or cattle getting double financed. The bank will check for any loans. If a priority agreement is needed the bank will provide it. This agreement must be signed before a contract with North Central Cattle Co-op can proceed.
