North Devon Yearbook: West Somerset Railway
http://northdevonyearbook.blogspot.com/2014/06/west-somerset-railway.html
Sunday, June 22, 2014. Train travel is great, the train just pootles along at a sensible speed and you get to see great scenery along the way. For some of the time the train runs along the coast, which is really pretty. The steam train had it's windows open, so it wasn't too hot. We had seats round a table, so we could have a drink and a snack too. It was all very civilised. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. North Devon Photo Journal. Sunday, February 23, 2014. A quick investigation along the blue path led me to the conclusion that it might have made a more interesting walk. But a lot of the burrows still looked be under flood water. Maybe I'll come back. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). North Devon Yearbook: The Hunters Inn
http://northdevonyearbook.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-hunters-inn.html
Monday, May 04, 2015. Then the path took us into woodlands where bluebells were in bloom. It was a pretty walk but the terrain was rough and steep both up and down hill. My legs are still aching now and the dog has been pretty much immobile since we got home. I hope I manage to get out of bed okay tomorrow! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A travel blog for independant women who like to travel independantly. Organised by a group of female librarians who are keen travellers and would like to share their knowledge and experiences. We seldom go on a package holiday, it's much more fun and cheaper to do it yourself. Monday, October 02, 2006. Dublin, wonderful Dublin! Well, Dublin was everything we were hoping for. It is the friendliest capital in the world. A 40 minute flight and we were there, we caught Aircoach. And the Ryder Cup. Fantastic ...

North Devon Photo Journal. Thursday, 22 February 2007. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Everywhere you look in Barnstaple at the moment they are digging up. This was once a lovely grass covered roundabout, with beautiful trees and flowers. When they've finished it will paved and soulless. That's if they ever do finish. Of course there are still some nice things to look at. This tree thinks it spring already! Sunday, 4 February 2007. Enjoying hot chocolate on a warm winter's day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://northdevonphotojournal.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
North Devon Photo Journal. Thursday, 25 October 2007. We went to the beach with some friends at the weekend. It was lovely weather and even with our coats on sitting feeling the sun warm our faces brought back memories of the summers we've had and the one we should have had this year. So I thought I'd post some photos to let you all see. Here's hoping we have better luck next year! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

North Devon Photo Journal. Wednesday, 23 November 2011. Here are some scenes of autumn in the woods around the village of Charles. This first was taken by me and the others by my daughter as part of her 'Natural Forms' art homework. I think the flowers have forgotten what season it is. We even saw primroses!
