Crazy for Flying: The Weather Dance
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2009/07/weather-dance.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. It's that time before a trip. the time where my stomach starts to do little flip flops and I am easily distracted from everyday tasks. I start watching the clock till when the next weather update comes out on http:/ www.aviationweather.gov/. And trying to compute enroute. Times, mapping possible routes in my head against the weather map. In formation with 60 other Cessnas. I hav...
Crazy for Flying: November 2008
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. The pace of my flying has slowed a bit, mostly because of the approaching winter weather. which is something of a good thing. Our checking account can't keep up with the rate of flying I did in October! I'm having to adjust a bit to that idea- but it makes sense given how much more time and energy (and studying) I've done lately. Husband is out right now finishing his stag...
Crazy for Flying: June 2010
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. We finished the requirements for the Virginia Aviation Ambassadors program. It was great to be back in the air together. Though a little warm, it was a pretty good flying day for summer. Miracle of miracles, we even got a Bravo clearance on the way out. We don't usually get cleared into that airspace even when we fly IFR! Head in the Clouds. Links to this post. Head in the Clouds.
Crazy for Flying: March 2009
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Thursday, March 5, 2009. Women, Women, Everywhere! Last month I celebrated getting my commercial rating by attending my first Women in Aviation International ( WAI. Conference in Atlanta. (Since then, I've also gone skiing, taken on a new job at a new company, and begun work on my CFI. So more will be coming! The conference was amazing- and the people I met there were even more amazing! Weather and the XM.
Crazy for Flying: April 2010
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Back in the Air! In March. our new little future pilots were born! Julia and Jonathan made their arrival (somewhat unexpectedly) and immediately took over our hearts and lives! After almost 2 weeks in the NICU, we brought them home and began a new life as a family of four. A month after the twins were born, I took my first flight as a new mom! What a fun day! Head in the Clouds.
Crazy for Flying: May 2009
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Note: this is from a few months back. I just forgot to finish and publish the post! Somehow, I came up with the response "Soft-field landing technique! Calling the FBO on the phone (they didn't answer on the radio), we learned that there was a mechanic on field- but that he was out of town for the next 2-3 weeks! Ed an extra headset from the FBO. I s howed her w. She did that....
Crazy for Flying: October 2009
http://crazy4flying.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my flying adventures with my husband and my dog. as I get my private pilot and beyond. Monday, October 19, 2009. It's Been a While! But I have a good reason! Yup we're having twins! I'm not sure which discussion started first- whether we'd need a bigger car or a bigger airplane! We are hoping to be able to fit two carseats. In the back of our 172. supposedly, it can be done! Unfortunately, we won't have much room or weight left over for Flyer. Of course- I'll welcome any suggestions you fl...

(probably) the best blog on North East fly fishing you reading right now | North East Fly Fisherman
North East Fly Fisherman. Probably) the best blog about North East Fly Fishing you’re currently visiting. Thanks for visiting my half arsed attempt at a north east fly fishing blog. To be honest, if I had the choice between fishing and keeping this thing up to date the fishing would win hands down. However, you're in luck. Due to the awful weather we've had, and still seem to be getting regularly to make sure we've not forgotten what rain is, I've plenty of time to tinker and dabble with the blog. As has...
