Ich habe mir einen "idealisierten Aufbau einer Peitschenschnur (thong)" gebaut. Das ist ein typischer Aufbau für Bullwhips, längere Snakes usw. Es fängt mit der Seele (core) an. Dann die erste geflochtene Schicht (1. plaited belly). Darüber der erste bolster (1. bolster). Dann wieder eine geflochtene Schicht (2. plaited belly). Darüber der zweite bolster (2. bolster). Auch ok ;-).

Meine erste Signalwhip, ein Projekt was ich schon locker zwei Jahre vor mir herschiebe…. Weil es nicht so einfach ist, den Cracker "vernünftig" einzuarbeiten. Nachtrag, ein paar Monate später:. Sie "hatte" einen 14 inch Handle. Irgendwie lief sie zwar gut, war auch sehr zielgenau, aber ich persönlich fand den Griff dann doch zu lang und habe den jetzt auf 10 inch gekürzt. Sie läuft immer noch super und ich denke, ich habe damit jetzt mehr Spass ;-). Zur Spitze hin auf 8 reduziert (8-point).

Das habe ich gezeichnet und zeigt den prinzipiellen Aufbau meiner Snake. Man kann natürlich variieren, wie z.B. aus dem Shotbag direkt noch einen 4-plait-core zu flechten, oder die bolster länger machen, oder statt einem bolster, eine weitere, geflochtene Schicht einbauen, usw. Eine Übung für mich, um mal den Schnitt zu üben, Titel hinzufügen, Bilder oder Ton drunterzulegen. Interessant sind solche Filme zur Konrolle des Fortschritts. Das hier ist ein "Schnappschuß" einer Bekannten, ich habe das gar nicht mitbekommen, also völlig ungestellt ;-). Fakten: 3,5ft, ca. 110 cm, 12plait, Roo.
