The Crafteteria: Sometimes it pays to be crafty
http://thecrafteteria.blogspot.com/2010/06/sometimes-it-pays-to-be-crafty.html
Crafting chaos, gardening, rants and more served hot off the grill. Thursday, June 10, 2010. Sometimes it pays to be crafty. Yesterday I downed a Starbucks Doubleshot and kicked apartment ass. I got a ton done including lots of cleaning, some blogging and fixing the very lumpy couch cushions. The left side finished compared to the right side which is the "before.". Still not clear whether or not the yellow pieces started out yellow. ew. I scrubbed my hands really hard afterward. This is by far not my mos...

The Crafteteria: Plot Update
http://thecrafteteria.blogspot.com/2010/06/plot-update.html
Crafting chaos, gardening, rants and more served hot off the grill. Thursday, June 3, 2010. I thought today I'd share photos of my garden plot. Unfortunately my utter lack of money has led me to only plant half the plot. Tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeno, radishes and some cornflowers that haven't bloomed yet. Ruby corn, spinach, strawberries, peas and out of view are black eye peas. Posted by Sarah Jane at The Crafteteria. These information helps me consider some useful things, keep up the good work.

Weigh In: 10-minute workout pays off
http://captivatefitness.blogspot.com/2010/06/10-minute-workout-pays-off.html
Trade your suit for spandex, dump the donuts for dumbbells and kick bunt cakes for boot camps. Don’t worry. We won’t make you take the stairs. Word of the Day. 10-minute workout pays off. Sometimes I like to sleep in. Correction Sometimes I like to set my alarm for 6:30 and hit snooze every 10 minutes until 8. And since I’m a morning-workout person, this tends to cramp my exercise style. But, a new study. Or maybe a little Sweatin' to the Oldies. Rich and I, we go way back. I like to call him Slimmons.

Weigh In: Skip cereal before the gym
http://captivatefitness.blogspot.com/2010/06/skip-cereal.html
Trade your suit for spandex, dump the donuts for dumbbells and kick bunt cakes for boot camps. Don’t worry. We won’t make you take the stairs. Word of the Day. Skip cereal before the gym. I work out in the morning, so unless I’m going on a long run I usually don’t hit the fridge before I hit the road. Little did I know my munching schedule has an effect on my body's fat-burning skills. A new study shows. That working out on an empty stomach might actually help you lose more weight! What do you do? Septem...

I couldn't find any so I used regular ones. Floral Wire, I used 22 gauge. Dowel or something to curl petals. Cut petal shapes in a range of sizes. Cut wire long enough for the stem of the rose. Cut strips of floral tape 1-2' long until you are sick of cutting (you'll need quite a few of these). Bend the tip of wire at approximately 1/2'.

The Crafteteria: Kickass Painted Heels
http://thecrafteteria.blogspot.com/2010/06/kickass-painted-heels.html
Crafting chaos, gardening, rants and more served hot off the grill. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. I've been paint on and off for two weeks and finally they are done! I've had these shoes for a while and they are the comfiest heels ever! I painted them using acrylic paint. Afterward I sprayed it with a seal. I'm all about fixing things instead of replacing them, so the the paint is partly functional. I'll definitely wear these a lot longer than if the scuffs got worse. What do you think of my shoes?
