A US Department of Labor Web Site. Job Corps pays each student a living allowance every two weeks while in the program. But just like a real job, taxes are deducted from this allowance. Center can house 133 males, 75 females in five dormitories. As per contract. Each dormitory has bathroom and shower facilities, laundry facilities, TV rooms, and lounges.
