El Sueno Americano…. Super long car trip. July 9, 2010 at 4:44 pm. The drive from Omaha all the way down to Lagos De Moreno, Jalisco takes about 30 hours or so. It kind of sucks, but due to the whole passport situation, we are stuck driving for now. We’ve done it before, and we’ve also done the 24 hours to California a couple of times, so the girls are old pros when it comes to long ass car rides.
