Birding over my head. Look up, see more stuff. Best of the rest of the recycled highlights. January 11, 2013. I was browsing recent Berksbirds photos. Last night and noticed this striking fellow. In a picture taken by Linda Garner-Langham at the west end of Sandford Lake. Fraser Cottington has confirmed that the bird is still present today, and is looking good for Dinton CP’s first. Landlocked birder with limited horizons, usually not looking at them. View all posts by PaulBT →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Garden | Birding over my head

Birding over my head. Look up, see more stuff. Birding Over My Head pays a lot of attention to my garden, since that’s where I do a substantial amount of my birding. So here’s some more information about the garden and its surroundings. No need for the zoom. Birding is occasionally done, even deliberately, from the front garden; it has a lawn and a mature rowan tree, which attracts thrushes, Starlings, and even Waxwings. The brook after heavy rain. The marsh soon after dawn. Some distance to the W there ...

http://burraybirding.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Burray is one of the Southern isles on the East side of Scapa Flow linked to the Orkney Mainland by the Churchill Barriers. I have been living on Burray since August 2012 and this blog is about the birds (and other wildlife) seen around island. Patchwork Challenge Bird List. Sunday, 18 May 2014. It was just before 7 o'clock this morning when I went out to top up the bird feeders. So that is a new species for my patch and for my Burray list. So far in May. Details coming soon - honest :-). Mist was the or...

Fugl i Sola: mai 2013
http://solafugler.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Fugl i Sola: 20. oktober - Ringgjess i Brunnavika
http://solafugler.blogspot.com/2014/10/20-oktober-ringgjess-i-brunnavika.html
Mandag 20. oktober 2014. 20 oktober - Ringgjess i Brunnavika.

Fugl i Sola: september 2014
http://solafugler.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Fugl i Sola: juli 2013
http://solafugler.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
I denne blogge...
