Mexico Nuts - Living Outside the Box: December 2010
http://lybbertfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 4, 2010. Just go Google yourself. Okayhave we all been guilty of googling ourselves, to see what comes up- right? Or is it just me? I find it rather entertaining. For example, a man called a few days ago to order a wood watch, and remarked that he had read a newspaper article about us moving to Mexico. I said, "Oh, are you from Peachtree City? Nobut Google is an amazing thing! He was from Washington, and was probably just googling our business to make sure it was legit! Just go Google ...

Mexico Nuts - Living Outside the Box: September 2011
http://lybbertfamily.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. If I'm talking about Father's Day, you can see how behind I am on posting! The girls came home from school with adorable gifts for Jared on Father's Day! They each made a picture that the school then had printed on mugs, along with their photo on the other side. Ella's picture is of her and her Daddy (I love Ella's red hair photos.they always make me smile! These are definitely a keepsake! Sunday, September 25, 2011. Links to this post. Mexico Nuts - Living Outside the Box: May 2011
http://lybbertfamily.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 30, 2011. A new roof, that is. Sometimes I find it amazing that we can be friends with people that we can barely communicate with! One of the new families in our church ward has 3 children who are all close in age to our children. The parents, Maria and Luis, parents do not speak English, and so I do my best to put together my truly. So, the first day of the project they did some other tasks. Here is Luis making a new foundation for their small wash basin to be moved outdoors, closer to t...

Mexico Nuts - Living Outside the Box: Our serious student...
http://lybbertfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/our-serious-student.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. Ella is a very serious student. She has to have everything PERFECT, which can make for some rough homework sessions, at times. Overall, she's better better at not throwing fits! In Mexico, the children write in cursive, not print. I tried to write a note to the teacher in pure cursive (you know, the "correct" way.so I didn't feel dumb), and realized I just couldn't do it very well. I generally use a sloppy mix of print/cursive/whatever. Sunday, September 25, 2011.

Mexico Nuts - Living Outside the Box: April 2011
http://lybbertfamily.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. The girls are constantly wanting to put on "shows" for us. I think Ella might already be a pre-teen! Thursday, April 21, 2011. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. How to occupy children at a birthday party. Ella had her 6th birthday party last month. I was not about to invite 100 people over (Mexican style), and instead allowed Ella to choose 5 friends to invite to our house. So, instead I came up with mix of a treasure hunt and a list of games to play! And after all ...

Ramblings by Leadatortilla: April Fools!
http://leadatortilla.blogspot.com/2015/05/april-fools.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2015. I completely forgot to post about April Fools Day! April Fool's Day Report 2015. Drew a mustache, goatee, and Fool on Lea while she slept (that pic is from 5:30am, I did not go to the gym with the facial as Shayne had hoped). Used up all the hot water then made sure the water heater was set to vacation mode. Bought the boys doughnuts, only dyed half of the jelly blue - and covered the rest with the regular jelly = really blue mouths. Decorated his dad's car. Just two cute pics.

http://leadatortilla.blogspot.com/2014_10_12_archive.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2014. We decided to take a family vacation to visit Aunt Alisa and Uncle Jared in Oregon! We met in Bend first. We had fun at The High Desert Museum - which wasn't a museum at all. We saw a show about flying predators, a small town with people dressed in period clothing, and more demonstrations about desert animals. Why are they cleaning without complaining here? We visited Smith Rock - a state park. It was a beautiful area, but the playground was the highlight for the kids. The Oreg...

Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Shayne was an over-achiever this past year and was invited to 2014's "President's Club" in Bermuda. So proud of this guy and his hard work! We left our kids in the care of family and left for our dream all-paid for vacation in a place we never imagined we would go - Bermuda! We also tacked on a couple extra days in NYC, since we had a lay-over there and it was an easy extension when booking our flights! Little bit of shopping. But mostly, beach time. Here are some pics from S...
