Silver Squad: February 2011
http://northwestcheersilver.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. So since you are having Thursday night off, I have some definite. Homework that needs to be done! 1 Practice your dance 20x through to the music! Make sure that you are not just running through it and getting it over with. You need to have the tight motions you had last night. Make sure you master the new parts of your dance. Remember the small things! Don't work on the last 8-count, as that will be changed next week. Posted by Silver Stars. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

SLOB SQUAD: March 2011
http://northwestcheerwhite.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 19, 2011. Feedback from outside coaches. VIDEO: http:/ www.facebook.com/video/video.php? If this link doesn't work, it is on my FB page). Over all, I feel like they need to be sharper in transitions. They seem bored. Some are adjusting hair and clothes and not engaged every single count. Flyer's legs together and straight in layout position in entrance - COMMIT and FIX. Back bases REALLY pull up to secure excess bobbling. Opening pass 2 has better timing, but still isn't totally on. Over the week and weekend I would like for you to do some extra homework and really focus on going over your counts for your routine, including stunting. Do everything full out while you are going over it. At tumbling on Sunday, work as much of your routine tumbling to your counts as you can. Practice the opening cartwheel FR/cartwheel BHS. Practice your dance full out! You are all great athletes and this is going to be an awesome season!

SLOB SQUAD: January 2011
http://northwestcheerwhite.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. New and Improved SilverStars. If you always do what you've always done, you'll always have what you've always had." Someone wise. Every year, White Squad has had amazing potential. Every year, we've seen the glimmer of success. Every year, the practices start to get soft, the work ethic starts to level out, and the excuses continue to come. And every year the White Squad has finished below their original potential. LEGACY TEAM, will it be the same this year? Rewind-grab by 2 wi...
