What we did on our summer vacation. Saturday, July 08, 2006. We had a 7:00 wakeup call, a quick shower, and a nice breakfast buffet before we left for a 4 hour tour of Oslo. What we did on our summer vacation. Sunday, July 16, 2006. Even though we had gotten in late last night I didn't get a whole lot of sleep. I think my body just wasn't sure what time zone we were in. The bed was nice and comfortable though and Junel and I both mentioned later how rested we felt. We got into Vegas a little after 4:00 Pacific time. We were both really starting to get tired now. We had about a 2 hour layover in McCarran airport. Can anyone say, "remodel"? Fortunately our flight to Reno.

What we did on our summer vacation. Saturday, July 15, 2006. Back to the USA. We were up early (again) for breakfast in order to catch the bus to the airport. The sad part was we had to say goodbye to Steve and Kathy who were planning an extended detour up Norway's coast for another five days. We arrived at the airport and checked our luggage. What we did on our summer vacation. Thursday, July 13, 2006. Today was an early wakeup call, 6:15. With breakfast again provided we were on the road again heading to Molde. What we did on our summer vacation. Saturday, July 01, 2006. Fun times at the lake. We slept in until about 10:00. Grandma June has a new game for us called, "Paint the Dock." Funny, isn't she.
