As time goes by. We had the final radiation treatment today. What a great bunch of dedicated, compassionate folks we have been dealing with. Now the healing process can continue unfettered. We continue to rest in the plan our Lord has for us. Pain for a while, but leading somewhere for sure. We trust Him, and as much confidence as we have in the doctors and nurses, for they truly are a talented group, He is the ultimate Great Physician. Posted February 10, 2009 by norwoodphotos. As time goes by. As time goes by. Be warned, traffic through the refuge can be heavy and slow at times:. Commuters can get cranky too. Here one is making a pointed remark about how inappropriate he finds our RAV4:. Air traffic is always heavy at the refuge so don’t forget to keep looking up:. So if you get a chance to visit the refuge remember to relax, enjoy the ride, and bring your camera and binoculars. Entrance fees are minimal and they do honor the National Parks Senior Pass. Forgotten but not gone!

As time goes by. Another long span between posts. I am off all pain meds and recovering quite well. Stamina is taking some time to recover. The only real downside is that my appetite is back and the weight is coming back. The loss of 25 pounds was a real positive result of the treatment and something I am trying to maintain. As time goes by. We start another week of treatment tomorrow morning with radiation Monday through Friday and chemo on Tuesday. The weather here has been something to behold with much snow and ice. Very unusual which is, well, usual. But it has not prevented our trips to the clinic each day. It takes a lot to get me off my feed…. And just another quick update – as of 01/06/2009 my blood counts are too low for another round of chemo. We will try again next Monday. Posted January 4, 2009 by norwoodphotos.
