Tom Austin started off and covered many aspects, including some fairly technical legal issues. There seems to be a real question whether NMFA money was properly spent. Amigos de los Robledos. This site supports a dedicated group of concerned and motivated home owners in their effort to stop a sewage treatment plant being sited in our area. And now we are a non profit group called Amigos de los Robledos. None of these homeowners were told of the project. The effluent will come from 6 miles away because people with political power did not want to risk having their sewage treated even remotely close to where they live. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. I’m sure one of the speakers could turn back to the crowd and say “Everyone who is opposed to the sewer plant going in by Hope Road, raise your hand.” Can you imagine a hundred, maybe two-hundred, people raising their hands and saying “ We are.
