Saturday, 24 August 2013. I think I may regret posting these photos. I had a running partner today. It was actually my first time running with someone and I loved it. She did a good 3km before asking for a break and then managed to cycle the rest of the 5km. She can be so determined when she wants to be. When we set off it was drizzling out. Monday, 3 March 2014. One thing our family agrees on is 'spolrin', floaty skirts optional. Friday, 28 September 2012. If you saw me today. I would have been the one at 3.12pm rushing into the playground carrying my less than happy two-and-a-half year old son. The mum that had an unintentional side pony and smudged mascara. The one that was thrilled that school was three minutes late letting the kids out because she'd fallen asleep on the sofa with said two year old following a 4am wake up. But I would also be the one craning to see her big girl in the queue waiting for a hug. I'm not proud....

Friday, 19 July 2013. Milestones and every day life. Two Saturdays ago this little girl learnt to ride her bike without stabilisers! She's pretty pleased about it. Hence why she now feels that she can ride in whatever attire she likes. I am, of course, thrilled that she is able to ride her bike. It's a huge milestone for a five year old. (so much better than her mum who was double digits.). She got it right after that very next push. I was the most proud that she had kept going, even though it was tough.

Tuesday, 7 April 2015. It was a beautiful day. I forgot to take any photos until after most people had left :). Though we did have a great time with family for a long time after Esmae's beautiful blessing and the meeting. Though, of course, Izzy was mostly found with the youngest cousins! Love you baby girl. Born 6th June 11.35pm (minutes before her due date) weighing 9lbs 4oz. That moment when Izzy and Ethan first met her and held her gets me choked up every time I think about it.
