Wednesday, 22 July 2009. A midsummer baking demonstration. This is a fuzzy, non-professional photo but it's the only one of me from the whole evening. I'm in the middle with the 80's policewoman hairstyle (I swear it was flatter earlier in the evening - the billowing frosting sugar must have done this! And Louise, my dear friend and owner of the illustrious Simply Rouge. 160;bespoke stationery, is next to me. Another fuzzy shot from the demo. There's my cousin Lynda on the left! http://marshmallowgrove.blogspot.com/2009/06/cinnamon-buns.html
Thursday, 11 June 2009. Ha Not.) . into action. Today I'm making cinnamon buns. Cupcakes are fab and all, but the smell of a warm, sticky, goopy bun, gritty on the curvy insides with cinnamon sludge, and laced just-a-moment-ago with hot cream cheese frosting is actually recorded in physics textbooks as extremely magnetic to anybody with a nose (even if their nose has no nose-buds. Or smell-buds, or whatever. Weird, huh? In town, and the OUTLET. 28 June 2009 at 13:56. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://marshmallowgrove.blogspot.com/2009/07/not-related-to-cupcakes-part-1.html

I assumed this meant they light up - which would have been extremely exciting, except I couldn't find anybody in Belfast who would sell me a new set of 'shoe batteries'. 160;They're called the Adidas 1.0 Intelligence. And I'm so proud to own them. Newly ordered batteries on their way too! How To Eat A Cupcake.

Friday, 17 July 2009. Marshmallows are intriguing, cloudy-textured little dudes, and I've always wanted to know how to make them. For our first baking demonstration, I decided I really had to learn how to make marshmallow frosting, which can then be blow-torched to a toasty campfire Nirvana-snack. So here's how you do it (from Martha's new cupcake book. 1 Bung a cup of granulated sugar into a small pot. Add 1/4 US cup of cold water. Mix it up. Turn up the heat! We also topped mugs of hot chocolate.
