One of the main things has been getting my friendship quilt together. We all completed a strip for each other, it was lots of fun. Now I just need to quilt it. There are still 3 quilt tops to be quilted. Thursday, April 08, 2010. Well done it looks great! April 9, 2010 at 10:42 AM. May 16, 2010 at 12:05 AM.

janeys relaxation: March 2009
http://janeysrelaxation.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 5, 2009. I came home from the Quilt Convention on Saturday very motivated to sew. I just couldn't resist this Peter Rabbit panel! It didn't take long at all to make it up into a lovely book! Before beginning the new projects I decided to finish this one. I began this New York Beauties last year. I have worked at it in small doses and gave it a larger dose to finish it. Still have to quilt it of course. Thursday, March 05, 2009. Labels: New York Beauties. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://janeysrelaxation.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2008. It is lovely to have some time off work. Catching up with friends and of course some sewing and gardening! Spotted these bargain packs at Ballarat Patchwork and just had to get them. I have never sewn with Chenille before, so thought I would have a go since I am on holidays. I rushed home with them and started - what a mess when I started cutting! A lovely quick and easy pattern, I have enjoyed working on it! Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Sunday, September 7, 2008. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Getting back on track. What an exhausting two weeks we have had here. After our lovely relaxing weekend away we have all been unwell, there have been many days off work and school and lots of laying on the couches! The kids and I are much better than we were, it seems to take awhile to get over it completely. Therefor there has not been much happening in the sewing department. Spring is definitely on its way. The flowers are blooming and the tree ferns are showing new life! Then ...

janeys relaxation: A new fence
http://janeysrelaxation.blogspot.com/2009/02/new-fence.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. There have been some changes in my front garden this week. The side fence has been held up by the covering of ivy for a number of years. Recently the fence began to lean and we decided that it was finally beyond repair. Although the ivy looked green and cool, and was not at all affected by the drought it had to go along with the old paling fence. There were a few days with no fence at all. Then up went the new colourbond fence. Our gardening frogs even look happy!
