Mark Diodati's Provergence: January 2006
http://provergence.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Identity management thoughts and analysis. Thursday, January 19, 2006. The Politics of Identity Assurance. As I was thinking of some folks’ perception of identity assurance as binary, I was reminded of something Chris Rock said on his Never Scared comedy CD. It’s a bit profane (you have been warned! I got some sh* I'm conservative about, I got some sh* I'm liberal about. Crime - I'm conservative. Prostitution - liberal.". I define identity assurance. Processes and the overall security characteristics.

Identity management thoughts and analysis. Wednesday, April 05, 2006. Phishing will continue to be a problem for years to come, and there is no silver bullet to fix the problem. We have now reached the third wave of phishing attacks, and this wave is particularly damaging from an authentication perspective. In the first wave. I’ll discuss controls that can mitigate phishing attacks in a future blog entry. Posted by Mark Diodati @ 9:29 AM. View my complete profile. Provisioning without Custom Connectors.

Identity management thoughts and analysis. Tuesday, August 08, 2006. Provisioning without Custom Connectors. Provisioning is most likely a requirement for organizations with many users and applications; that would be most large organizations. The current state of provisioning requires that custom connectors be deployed, installed on the target application or running remotely. Of course, organizations love to hear that they need to deploy connectors to target applications. SPML provides a better way.

Identity management thoughts and analysis. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Sun Acquires Neogent: Misspells HIPAA and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Sun announced its acquisition of Neogent. I know spelling errors sometimes slip in. But how did a couple of important spelling errors get into the press release? From the contacts listed at the end of the press release, the logical assumption is that both Sun and Neogent vetted the release. Act (an ironic misspell). The combination of Sun'...

Random Thoughts on Digital Identity: Strong Identities Can Be Anonymous
http://blog.onghome.com/2005/03/strong-identities-can-be-anonymous.htm
Random Thoughts on Digital Identity. Friday, March 11, 2005, 6:26 PM. Strong Identities Can Be Anonymous. Just because a digital identity is strong, does not mean it cannot be anonymous. An anonymous digital identity. Is a digital identity that is not linked (or bound) to a known legal entity (person or otherwise). A strong digital identity. Why am I blogging this? Well, Stefan Brands. Just wrote Identity Bloggers: meet the Privacy Bloggers. Can be fairly independent of privacy. If we decouple the discus...

http://blog.onghome.com/2006/08/opensso-available.html
Random Thoughts on Digital Identity. Monday, August 28, 2006, 10:11 PM. I was browsing through Pat Patterson's blog. And noticed his posting on the release of OpenSSO. OpenSSO source code, released on August 17, 2006, is now available at https. The cost of deploying. SSO systems has traditionally not been in the cost of the software itself. Netegrity. Hence, the term. I'm unclear as to how OpenSSO will affect the industry. What do you think? PT Ong 10:11 PM Permalink. Post to del.icio.us. Mdash; P.T&...

Things, and also stuff. Friday, 20 January 2012. Last week I went out for some leaving drinks after work. Avoiding our usual trip to The Oaks in Neutral Bay we headed down to the Deck just inside Luna park. Luna Park is the traditional fair behind the scary face you can see poking out under the bridge as you look north across the harbour. See the full gallery on Posterous. Things, and also stuff. Wednesday, 3 August 2011. Well not really moving in, as we've been here for a while. Actually our stuff arriving from the UK. The container that only just fitted up the drive was full to bursting with the 146 packages that had been shipped from the UK. This time I wasn't able to avoid helping due to being in a different country. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Sydney - City and Suburbs. Daceyville, Dacey Gardens.
