It’s the idea of an Italian pasta but instead, with the flavor and technique of Chinese stir-fry cooking in mind. It’s a very easy, very quick, very versatile meal. (Meaning it can easily be altered to your liking) It’s a non-greasy, meatless, delicious, nutritious and very healthy meal. I used either Manischewitz.

Today, I cooked a 12 Minute Pasta Toss. 2-3 cups rotini pasta ( i used tri-color ones). 1 boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite size pieces. 1 tablespoon cooking oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup chopped baby carrots. 1 cup chopped green bell peppers. 1 cup finely chopped celery. 1 1/4 teaspoons salt. 1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder. 1 1/4 teaspoons dried basil.

I wanted to make a spinach pesto pasta and ended up making something else! As I began making the spinach pesto, I thought of mixing it with the Alfredo sauce I had in the fridge and from there I added a few things here and there and voila! A successful meatless pasta recipe I am super happy about! 8211; 2 cups of Farfale pasta (bowtie).

By notacook on April 24, 2007. 1 1/2 cup whole wheat (high fiber) Penne pasta. 1 cup skinless, boneless chicken strips. 2-3 cups broccoli florets. 2 cloves of minced garlic. 1 or 2 cups of chicken broth ( Swanson broth is my preference because it doesn’t stink! 1 tbsp. of lime juice. (lemon is ok too). 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves. Pepper and salt to taste. Season a cup of chicken strips with pepper and salt, mix them well.
