Alas, mobile blogging isn't available for Korea yet. Blogger people, are you listening? Published by Brian on at 2:56 PM. Although we had ...

Published by Brian on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 9:06 AM. Last night I ran a mile. So in my mind I'm already picking out my shoes for next year's Boston Marathon, but the reality is I should just try to run one more mile. Maybe I will do it today, maybe I will wait till tomorrow. Maybe a day to recover is not a bad idea. Links to this post.

Published by Brian on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 3:57 PM. On September 7th, with a rented car and a reservation at a national motel chain that must waste a lot of electricity, what with their leaving lights on all the time, I arrived in Albuquerque. Oh and, for those who have kept checking the BoB during this long dry spellThank you, I do appr...

The Blog of Brian: June 2005

Published by Brian on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 2:02 PM. Welcome to the crazy! So, I don't exactly know if I should be publishing something this personal, but here's something I wrote yesterday while I was as Sky Harbor waiting for my shuttle to Tucson. Why the hell did you chip my friend’s plate and then just leave it? This kind of avoidance of conflict is something I’ve done all my life, and it looks like I’m still doing it. Maybe this isn’t such a big deal. I saw a plate at Target that I think is i...

I've gotta cut loose, footloose, take off your Sunday shoes. Published by Brian on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 10:58 PM. So I’m doing the same camp thing again that I did in January. The difference now is I’m doing it all by my lonesome, the students are exclusively from my school, and I’m so over this whole thing it’s phenomenal. Even though I chose it, and therefore have no one to blame but myself, if I have to watch Footloose. Watching it now, 22 years (like, what happened? Lord of the Rings.

Published by Brian on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 10:39 PM. To finish. So I sat down and went to work yet again, and wrote the words, "The end" about 30 minutes ago. My final official word count is 51,652. Hey, at least it's still November for another hour and fifteen minutes. You're not considered totally insane unless you're still writing well into December. Now comes the editing part. That is something I will. Wait to do. I'm happy just having a completed first draft for now. Today is Pepero day.

Published by Brian on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 5:26 PM. Today is My Birthday. I'm 35. I used to have ambitions. Well, I don't know if you could really call them ambitions, they were more like fantasies. But anyway, there used to be things I wanted to do. Somehow I got sidetracked and now wham! I'm 35 and haven't really done a lot of the things I used to fantasize about. 1 Create something lasting. 2 Get a cause. 3 Have something to take care of. So, in one years time, I hope to have finished. A plot d...
