ELECTRICITY supplies were restored to more than 1,000 homes and businesses in the Wiveliscombe area last night. Many of the properties had been without power for two days after heavy snowfalls brought down overhead cables. All electricity supplies were back on by 9 pm last night. Mike taught at Gordon’s in Surrey for almost thirty years.  It was called Gordon Boys’ School when he first began there but became co-ed and so the name had to be changed.  Every summer they have ‘Annual’ which entails marching, presentations and music by the Pipe and Drum Band. Cornwall - Beside the Sea. Our life in and around the north-coast village of Portreath . Thursday, 22 August 2013. Mark, Stuart and their dog Sharpie have been joined at their camp-site by their neighbours John and Leigh, two children Declan and Ewan and their two dogs. I offered to have all the dogs here so that they could go to Portreath beach for a surf.  I was envisaging four small dogs all playing happily together and then they arrived! 160; When the car pulled up it had a miniature pony in it!

The sun soon came out and you can see we’re on Clover field …. Fowey was the destination for today and after parking on the hillside and walking down to the town, we found a bench overlooking the water …. Time for a posing photo and to learn about the harbour …. After we’d eaten we had a look inside the church …. One very tired Westie!
