Roots & Wings

Friday, October 30, 2009. Most of you probably know (although I'm not sure if there are any of "you" any more! But our life has had lots of changes lately. Blogging has not been part of my routine much, but I've taken lots of pictures, so today I thought I'd try to catch up a little. And it helps to put it in writing too! My grandma broke her hip in August. Since losing my job in March, I've loved being at home with Madi. And I have moved in upstairs with her. WOW! The view from grandma's front window.

Tuesday, December 2, 2008. CAFE de PARIS Fall Dinner 2008. Just a little disclaimer here! Blogger seems to be messing with this blog! Does anyone else see blue "F's" everywhere and "this picture is unavailable" all over the pictures? The Student Council at our Bible School asked me to help with with decorations for the Fall Dinner this year. It is a dinner put on (in the Fall :) for the students, staff, faculty and board. Here was the invitation:. The theme they wanted was a " street side. The chapel has...

Roots & Wings: Purse-onality!

http://www.notesfromlifesong.blogspot.com/2009/05/purse-onality.html

Thursday, May 7, 2009. Last weekend was "Ladies Day" at our church. Our theme was "Purse-onality". Which was a fun one for decorating! We decided to use a very pink girly theme in the church where the sessions were held and then different styles of bags on the tables in the fellowship hall. Here are a few pictures. Aqua and Black Sophisticated. Pink and Green Fun Bag. Love all of the purses/bags and the church was cute decorated all frilly :) You did a great job! May 8, 2009 at 6:08 AM.

Roots & Wings: July 2008

http://www.notesfromlifesong.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Adrian arranged these flowers with a ribbon for me. I love how this turned out! Probably my least favorite arrangement. Seems a little cheesy to have a lifesize picture of yourself in your living room, but this is the room they match.so they stay! Painted these leaves Almond. Made a big difference! And gave this arrangement a finished look. And a new candle.the purple wax peeled right off of this one.otherwise, I really like the changes we've made here. Wednesday, July 2, 2008.

I'm back already, with an exciting update. About 4 hours ago I received a job offer, which I accepted, to work at a law office! At $15/hr I should have my $80,000 (and rising) student debt paid of in no time! Grades are back, I ended up in the top 15%. It's not as high as I had hoped, but at least it's still respectable. Been gone a while.
