Wednesday, October 29, 2014. This evening the sun painted the cloud yellow which then mellowed to a coral orange. The lovely yellow light reflected off the white breast feather of a threesome of feeding chickadees. The golden leaves of the riverside cottonwoods and box elders are now dropping. Sunday, May 3, 2015. We must have had a minor drizzle last night, the road showed signs of rain. The early morning sun danced through the maple leaves, and lilac scented the breeze. Mollie and I were out early, a quick walk before the day started. Yesterday, we visited local nurseries. Mom purchased more Iceland poppies for the garden, while I found some pea starts. I walked into my bedroom to see a puddle of winter sunlight, and I jumped in. My bedside table held a book which I opened to read. I snuggled under a sun warmed blanket.
