Wednesday, August 19, 2009. It's hard to say goodbye to this blog. (tschus=goodbye in German). But before I start my new classroom blog, I wanted to post one more thing on my Germany blog. If you want to get a taste for what it is like to travel to Germany with Goethe's Transatlantic Outreach Program, check out this video. I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life on this trip! I can't wait to share my Germany lessons with my students in Room 400. It's going to be a great year!

Monday, November 30, 2009. Invention of Hugo Cabret Study Sheet #1. The story you are about to read takes place in 1931 in Paris, France. The text is well written and a delight to read. The rich illustrations take over telling the story at regular intervals. You will truly enjoy reading this great book. As we begin our adventure with Hugo Cabret, the main character of the book, you will need to do the following over the next couple of days. Things to consider: Was there sound? Were the movies in color?
