jon and abby james: Hawaii!!!
http://jonandabbyjames.blogspot.com/2010/05/hawaii.html
Our trip to Hawaii was super amazing! Us at the sea glass beach where the sand is full of little, rounded pellets of glass (not a good place to swim). Us at a waterfall. This rope swing was one of my favorite parts of the trip, even though I may have freaked out a bit before my turn I still went and I was so proud of myself! My nephew Lincoln was the only little one with us on this trip. He is so cute and we had so much fun with him. This is my favorite picture of him:. Me and my Mom:. I miss you guys!
jon and abby james: Goal #1 Revised
http://jonandabbyjames.blogspot.com/2011/02/goal-1-revised.html
To go on a run with my sisters and keep up at least part of the time when we visit here:. This trip is not very far away but I feel okay about starting on the treadmill. For one the temperature has been insanely cold outside and for another while I am just starting out the treadmill helps me keep track of myself a little more. Now that I have shared my new goal maybe it will be a little more motivation to accomplish it. We'll see. It will be a blast to run with both of you! Keep up the hard work!

jon and abby james: December 2009
http://jonandabbyjames.blogspot.com/2010/01/december-2009.html
We had a great holiday season but I did not take very many pictures. We have this great camera but it is so bulky that I don't carry it with me everywhere and therefore don't have very many pictures. Starting early in December Jon graduated from Weber State! It hasn't really set in yet, hopefully he will find a better job soon now that he is done with school. If you hear of any openings in the computer networking area let us know. I went to see my favorite cosmetologist and chopped off my hair. Abby's Gl...

Notes from under the Mountain
Notes from under the Mountain. Sunday, April 1, 2018. My tree is decorated for Easter, however I thought it had a few gaps that needed filling so I have made some more Easter eggs which I will hang today. This one is made using the border of a piece of sari silk, the colour is richer than the photo shows. Easter morning has come mild and sunny, the clocks have been turned back and a new season has begun., and I welcome a month that I hope will allow more stitching time. Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Notes from Val's Kitchen
Notes from Val's Kitchen. And garden, too. Good Reads and Resources. Thursday, August 6, 2015. I feel compelled to use it all. Every vegetable, fruit, leaf of lettuce, if it's growing in my yard or on my deck. If I've had a hand in helping it to survive, it must be devoured instead of left to wither on the vine. In this one, I have omitted the garlic for those of you with sensitive stomachs and a delicate sense of smell when it comes to dining with companions who get stinky garlic breath. Not to mention ...

Notes From Vikki
The Superheroes of Sandy Hook. I’m not really sure where I intend to go with this post; I just feel the need to write about it. What more can be said that hasn’t already been said by the reporters, the bloggers, the psychologists the police and the politicians? It’s senseless. There are no answers and there may never be an answer to the one question that has certainly kept all of us awake at night in these recent weeks. These surviving parents and spouses and siblings and grandparents, they are my heroes...
