Joy opened her music business in 1988 in Illinois until October 1996 when she had an opportunity in Cluj Napoca, Romania to teach private piano and voice lessions from 1996-2004 and went on to Gdynia/Gdansk, Poland from 2004-2008 to teach and perform. Traveling with her husband and 3 children they moved back to Illinois to settle in Champaign, Illinois. Joy reopened her music business in 2008 serving all near by areas around Champaign.
