The Schmitzes: February 2013
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Sunday, February 24, 2013. The boys and I went home this week, and it was really good. We played and played and loved the warmer weather. We flew home Tuesday, and that day we found out we had a firm offer on the house! Woohoo, we're under contract! Saturday, our last day, went by too quickly. We went to Lowes with the oldest three to a build and grow workshop. They made monster trucks and had a great time! When he saw him. So sweet. Saturday, February 9, 2013.

The Schmitzes: May 2013
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Charlie is a little pirate. I've been putting off writing this because I feel every time I write about Charlie, something is wrong. Oh well. It is what it is. It is all minor and subtle. For that, I am really grateful. We're now 8 days in (of 68. Ugh), and he has done so well. I am shocked. Suzanne, can you get Lee's take on this? PS I miss Mississippi. And now that I've written so much about eyes, mine are very heavy. Good night.

The Schmitzes: February 2014
http://travisandalisonschmitz.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
160; . Travis and Alison . Jack and Charlie. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She encouraged a gluten free/grain free diet since gluten has links to neurological disintegration but said we could go either way since his was mild but that we would see more dramatic results with diet change. She also recommended weekly speech therapy. I am so very grateful Charlie was diagnosed early and that we have access to excellent therapy to help him get better! I hardly held it together. I'm definitely just starting the ...

Toy Train New Toothbrush: March 2009
http://toytrainnewtoothbrush.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. One of the benefits of being a musician, songwriter, producer, and worship leader is that I get to wear what I want to work and, most of the time, have control over my schedule. . That is.until I have a deadline for a project. Then the Music Monster devours my life. My wife and kids forget what I look like (or that I can offer them my attention) and I disappear until I'm done. . Fortunately, this is more of a sprint than a marathon. Monday, March 23, 2009. 8230;thirty, muddy lots.

Toy Train New Toothbrush: Bathroom Reading and T-ball
http://toytrainnewtoothbrush.blogspot.com/2009/04/bathroom-reading-and-t-ball.html
Sunday, April 19, 2009. Bathroom Reading and T-ball. I am, for lack of a better term, a bathroom reader. I’ve tried the phrase “lavatory learner” but it lacks that certain “every day Joe” quality. So, “Bathroom Reader” it is. As embarrassing as it may seem for me to admit, I take comfort in the fact that I’m not alone. In reality, there are whole books written (and titled) for the sole purpose of being read whilst the reader is in the commode. What I’ve been reading lately is the humiliating part. Anyway...

Toy Train New Toothbrush: January 2009
http://toytrainnewtoothbrush.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. Sleeping Bags, Staircases, and The Tango. This past Friday we had dinner with some old friends. Hopefully you know the kind of friends I’m talking about. They’re those people with whom we have a long history of laughter, tears, major fights and reconciliation, and the comfort of knowing that, at the end of the day, we love each other. Even though their kids are older than our kids, Brehm, Elijah, and Alanna LOVE playing with them. I’ve never understood that. We came around the c...

Toy Train New Toothbrush: Bermuda II: Agag and Lawn Envy
http://toytrainnewtoothbrush.blogspot.com/2009/03/bermuda-ii-agag-and-lawn-envy.html
Monday, March 23, 2009. Bermuda II: Agag and Lawn Envy. Back when we moved into our house the neighborhood was still under construction. That meant that our beautiful first home looked out on…. 8230;thirty, muddy lots. But our youthful optimism would not be quelled. We saw opportunity where other, less visionary types, might have seen a festering metal box of construction waste and half-eaten Taco Bell lunches. There was only one problem. No one was getting rid of gravel, sand, or rock dust. They also re...

Toy Train New Toothbrush: May 2009
http://toytrainnewtoothbrush.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 10, 2009. Greetings "Toy Trainers". . After about a year's worth of blogs, and six months of news letters before that, I've decided that it's time for me to take a little break. Partially this is to give me a chance to recharge and rest after a very busy spring. But, if I'm honest, it's also because I want to have every story and spiritual application be guided by God and not contrived merely out of my own creativity. Writing these every week was hard for me. Or maybe more of a hibernation.
