Notes on Notes from Halfland. Musings on Life, Artistry, Movement, and the Tao. Friday, February 9, 2007. Tao Te Ching - Introduction. The Tao has no expectations. The Tao demands nothing of others. The Tao does not speak. The Tao does not blame. The Tao does not take sides. The Tao is not Jewish. David M. Bader – Zen Judaism. Tao Te Ching: The Definitive Edition. Notes on Notes from Halfland: April 2008
http://notesonnotesfromhalfland.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Notes on Notes from Halfland. Musings on Life, Artistry, Movement, and the Tao. Sunday, April 13, 2008. It has been very gratifying to see the progress that Shelley has been making on Halfland. My goal is that she can have the second half of this year to solely focus on it and really move it forward. It could involve some cutbacks on our part but it will be a worthy sacrifice. Anyway good to be posting again and I will be doing so on a regular basis from now on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://notesonnotesfromhalfland.blogspot.com/2007/03/tao-te-ching-chapter-two.html
Notes on Notes from Halfland. Musings on Life, Artistry, Movement, and the Tao. Saturday, March 3, 2007. TAO TE CHING CHAPTER TWO. The world is defined by opposites. Beauty is beauty because ugliness is perceived. Good is good because bad is perceived. Therefore, having and not having produce each other. Difficult and easy complement each other. Long and short create each other. High and low support each other. Sound and silence harmonize with each other. Front and back accompany each other. It's because...

Notes on Notes from Halfland. Musings on Life, Artistry, Movement, and the Tao. Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Three-dimensionality - part four(a) of five. Article, this weekend, entitled Pulling the Strings by Sarah Hemming. It is not available online to link to you, so below I have excerpted what to me are some of the highlights. So why this surge in interest from mainstream companies? Glanville attributes it partly to the fact that British theatre has evolved over the past 20 years to include more visual...

Monday, February 12, 2007. The Problem With Cluttered. I find it a bit difficult to write about Cluttered. I've neglected this project for a very long time. So What is Cluttered? It's a short animated movie describing the semi-surrealistic journey of a husband, straggling to adjust to his wife's metamorphosis from a little woman to a very big one (with an unexpected twist at the end) the entire story is expressed with actions, not a single word is being said. You can see the sets on my site. The main men...

notes on nostalgia
Wherever people act out of a prematurely fused, muddy communion, every action is conventional: every relation that such confusion leads to has its own convention, however unusual (i.e., in the ordinary sense immoral) it may be. by Ranier Maria Rilke in letters to young poet. View my complete profile. Thursday, October 16, 2014. I had known him for long. Four years is a long time. Since I had seen him coming down from. What seemed like a ‘stairway to heaven’. Theory, praxis, and latex gloves. The Wages of Home Care: An Interview With Clare Stacey. October 12, 2012. Comments Off on The Wages of Home Care: An Interview With Clare Stacey. Nearly two million Americans. Work as home health aides and personal care aides — a number that is projected to climb above three million by 2020. Most home aides are hired and paid by third-party agencies, which are often hugely profitable. In part because domestic workers have lacked minimum-wage and overtime protections.
Notes on Nurturing
Monday, January 12, 2015. After some praying and reflecting, I chose the word BUILD as my one word for this year. Build health, wealth and relationships. For this year, I will build to feel strong and abundant. I also want to be able to help others feel strong and abundant. I found a most fitting verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. I was even more thrilled when the random saint that came up from Saint's Name Generator. Was St. Louis IX. Construction workers- I pray for everyone who works for us. We were in Ho...
