Small Town Girl: My View on Adoption
http://smalltowngirl-michlyn.blogspot.com/p/my-view-on-adoption.html
Blogs I ♥. My View on Adoption. My View on Adoption. I'm an average teenage girl who has a passion for the world around us; especially for those who live such poor and humble lives. I have one adopted sister who is 9 years old and 4 other younger siblings. (Including one baby sister in heaven). They can be really excited for you, encourage you, and pray for you. They might ask a few questions but it's mostly because they want to know more about your exciting news. They might flat out say, "What? Having 5...

Small Town Girl: It's a Girl!
http://smalltowngirl-michlyn.blogspot.com/2016/03/its-girl.html
Blogs I ♥. My View on Adoption. March 31, 2016. This post is 2 months old because baby girl was born in January*. By 5am her brothers, dad, and baby's dad were back. We ate some food, Meg kept breathing through contractions, and the doctor came to check her at 7am. She said that baby should make an appearance by 1pm. They wheeled her back to perform a c-section, with her momma by her side. At 1:58pm, McKinley Darlene came into the world. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Find me on Instagram!

Blogs I ♥. My View on Adoption. February 23, 2016. An Open Letter to my High School Best Friends. I recently read this post. And thought why not write my own letter. Because I'm gonna be honest. I. Miss. High. School. So. Much. These girls were my everything. My support, my laughs, boy talk, pizza lovers, terrible dancers, and adventurers. So here's to them and their beautiful futures. February 17, 2016. I'm Alive / 2016. Woah where do I even begin? I've been absent from this little corner of the interne...

The Veltema Family Blog: Aubreeism
http://veltemafamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/08/aubreeism.html
Friday, August 10, 2012. Aubree lost her first tooth while we were camping last weekend. Lucky for her, the tooth fairy was able to find us at the campground, and leave her some money in exchange for her tooth. She didn't really seem too excited about the tooth fairy coming, but apparently it has been on her mind. Aubree: "I lost my nail, so I took it and put it under my pillow last night. But the nail fairy didn't find it. There was no money. Isn't there a nail fairy? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Small Town Girl: Small Town Girl
http://smalltowngirl-michlyn.blogspot.com/p/small-town-girl.html
Blogs I ♥. My View on Adoption. Hey there, I’m Michlyn! If you were wondering, it’s pronounced “mikelynn”. I’m 20 years old, a college junior, a small town girl, and this is my blog. Lived in the same small town for eighteen years of my life. There. Going to baseball games, soaking up the sun at the beach, and running to convince myself I'm in shape. My passions in life are taking too many pictures, teaching, laughing, drinking coffee, shopping with my momma, having deep conversations, going to church, b...

The Veltema Family Blog: November 2013
http://veltemafamilyblog.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 28, 2013. I witnessed something truly amazing tonight. It's one of those full circle moments that doesn't happen all too often in life. Where things come together, line up, and just make sense. I hesitated in writing about it because this story is not my own. I am just blessed to have watched it all unfold. But I think it needs to be shared because it is a beautiful story of redemption. Tell her to never stop singing. Sing always.". Never Once" - Matt Redman. Knowing that for every step.

Blogs I ♥. My View on Adoption. December 8, 2015. One Week. Left. Guys the time is winding down! In just over a week, I'll be back home with my family and my dogs and working and having no school work. College has been much tougher than I ever thought it would be. Many different aspects tie into the first semester being a little challenging but this too shall pass. The Veltema Family Blog: Ethiopia: Day 2
http://veltemafamilyblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/ethiopia-day-2.html
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Some of the little tukuls we passed. Part of the beautiful grounds at Common River. Once we had finished our buna, we all got back into the van and drove to the place we would be staying for the night. We made arrangements to stay with an organization called Common River. This is where the students eat lunch. When our tour had ended, we went back to our tukul to wait for dinner. The staff brought hot water for our "shower" so we could freshen up. One of the classrooms. Before long...
