There is not a mother in prison who has not had thrown at her “she should have thought of her children in all of this”. 8230;how do I start this one? Okay…let’s dive in. While we we continue to send women to prison for crimes that could be better dealt with by community programs, we need to see what works in relation to those women and their children and replicate the good things that are in place across the whole female estate.
