Barrett is on a two-week long class trip to Trinidad and Tobago, and tonight I'm working the closing shift at the seminary library. So, of course it's the perfect opportunity for me to post a recipe that I made three times over the holidays. That's right 1-2-3! It's delicious, rich, and my favorite cooking term EASY. I adapted it from an. 1 (9 inch) DEEP DISH pie shell. 3/4 cup white sugar. 1 cup light corn syrup.

Not One Blade of Grass. Thursday, February 24, 2011. The new semester has begun and life continues at its break-neck speed here in Austin. Barrett is taking a whole new set of classes, including Hebrew (yikes! And I'm continuing to work my two part-time jobs at the libraries. Speaking of Hebrew, Barrett had to create a mnemonic device to learn the noun endings. Sung to the tune of "Jesus Loves Me", the song he wrote will be printed in its entirety at the end of this post. Hooray! Better to employ a lisp.
