Dialogues with My Muse. Saturday, 30 August 2008. Oh My God (Saturn vs Lohan). Yesterday's 8 Pack got me to thinking about the first thing I produced in Acid Pro. It was an experimental piece that was inspired by a couple of very disparate pieces of news that filtered their way to me. The first was a recording of a radio transmission that was recorded by the Cassini-Huygens probe to Saturn. It kind of reminded me of the eerie sound effects that they used in 1950's sci-fi B-movies. I started messing about with Acid 4.0 and haven't really touched it in a long time and wanted to familiarise with it again and start playing around musically. It was really cool and good fun and there were loads and loads of people there and dogs too and the sun was shining and I ate lots of chips and ice cream. And Auntie Lucie was there too, as she was a helper and that meant that she had to help do things and then she could go to the festival free! And they played in the Ceilidh tent on the last night). The Diss from Harmonie Bliss. Thursday, July 12, 2007. We're in France - dad, mum, Phoenix and me are visiting Grandma Dizzy, Grandpa Robert and Grandad Bill at their home in France. We've been here before - I came when I was about 8 weeks old and again when I was 6 months and again just last month when mum and Phoenix came but dad stayed at home as he had work to do.
