Leave No Troops Behind! Presidential hopeful Senator John McCain feels that the presence of American troops in Iraq is not too important provided that casualties are kept to a minimum. He believes that militarily the US is winning the struggle and that they will prevail over the 'enemy' given time. A little more here from Senator McCain who says it OK for American troops to stay in Iraq for 100 years, a thousand years, ten thousand years. Pity no-one has asked the Iraqis for their views on this.
