Loving life as a Draper: April 2011
http://lovinglifeasadraper.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 22, 2011. Brent and I made for a lil weekend getaway beginning in Rochester, NY. The trip came about unexpectedly.which is what made it so fun. Brent purchased a car at a dealership in Rochester and it was supposed to be shipped within 6 days of being ordered.well.THREE weeks later and one car between the Drapers it was time to take matters in to our own hands. Fly to NY and drive the car back. For example, the hotel! The main part of our weekend date was a trip to the beautiful Niagra Falls.

http://www.mylittlekey.com/2012/07/is-this-real-life.html
Sunday, July 8, 2012. Is This Real Life? Woah where am I? Is this real life? Oh look, it's my blog. It's been a while since I've seen this place. WARNING: Here's the part where I make excuses for letting this rot by the wayside. So, you know, work's been really busy and stuff. This is true actually, I've been in the middle of a mega project since last August and I'm just now beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's my job though so who am I kidding? We Drank Beer. In Charleston. I'm not ...

My Little Key: September 2011
http://www.mylittlekey.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 23, 2011. Do We Really Read All These Books? I've got a problem and I'm afraid it's one that could end with me on an episode of Hoarders. I can't get rid of books! I don't know if seeing them around makes me feel smart or maybe I'm trying to convince myself that I really will need a refresher course on Marshall McLuhan's "the medium is the message" .err, probably not that. So where am I going with this? No before pic, I was too excited to move the books. Filled with random crap does not...

My Little Key: July 2011
http://www.mylittlekey.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. The (wo)man in the mirror. If you're looking for an invite):. As you can see that without very tall, fresh flowers, the mirror is just a bit too small for the space on its own. I also think the crystal candle holders were making the mantle look err. a bit too elderly? I love the retro look of the milk glass but I think I was going overboard and jumping way too far into the throwback deep end. I really needed to add something to each side of the mirror for better scale.

Loving life as a Draper: A Very Merry Christmas
http://lovinglifeasadraper.blogspot.com/2011/12/very-merry-christmas.html
Tuesday, December 27, 2011. A Very Merry Christmas. Boy has Christmas changed since I was little. My sisters and I used to spend Christmas Eve making cookies for Santa and sprinkling reindeer food (i.e. glitter) in the front yard. We would try and stay up as late as we possibly could to try and catch Santa coming down the chimney. My sister Kristina once swore to my parents that she saw all Santa's reindeer in the front yard. Our day looked a little like this. Nap Because we were so full ;). Not Your Gra...

My Little Key: August 2011
http://www.mylittlekey.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25, 2011. A super cute (but in need of some lovin') cane back chair! And it folds for easy storage! And how much did I pay for my new seat? Under $3. I think it was $2.95. So I scooped it up right away and carried it all around the store with me while we searched for other awesome deals. Of course being careful not to knock over any ceramic rabbits or frogs or clowns. I did a little online search and found a similar, if not the same, chair online at Plow and Hearth. Links to this post.

My Little Key: Somebody Didn't Like My Christmas Card
http://www.mylittlekey.com/2012/01/somebody-didnt-like-my-christmas-card.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. Somebody Didn't Like My Christmas Card. Have you ever snorted Crystal Light? Not like doing lines of it or anything crazy like that, you know, on accident. Good lord, that could be a substitute for waterboarding. It might be worse than inhaling powdered sugar. Oh the agony. So I'm making my Crystal Light pink lemonade last night as Josh and I are about to sit down and finally watch The King's Speech. And I guess it wasn't that great of a speech after all. Do you know why this som...
