It was nutritious, delicious, and who says you have to eat sweet things for breakfast anyway. Next, I added a halved onion, threw in 3 frozen garlic cloves, and added some spices. All I had in the cupboard was taco seasoning. I cooked it on high in the crockpot overnight and it was a heavenly smell to wake up to.

I’m sure everyone has a recipe for this, but thought I’d post my easy-peasy, sourdough crumb version. Bread crumbs in a bowl, add whatever seasonings you like and a dash of olive oil. Mix with your hands until the crumbs are just barely softened. Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and scramble with a fork. Dip your choice of fish in first the egg, and then the crumbs to coat.
